In today's session, Alex shared a personal story about a connection he had with someone, but he ultimately realized he wasn't getting what he needed out of the relationship.
Alex realized the most important question to ask yourself when if comes to romance and heartbreak:
"What does my heart need?"
If you know exactly what you need, then you will know what to look for in someone. Past relationships may have gone awry because you never asked yourself what your heart really needed.
Go to a quiet place, meditate, and ask yourself "What does my heart need." Remember, you are not asking "What do I need" or "What are my goals." You genuinely want to uncover what your heart needs to uplift your life.
Not sure what you want?
Try a romantic Sun and Clouds list.
Think you are not able to date because you have to focus on your career?
A real, powerful, loving relationship can add fuel to your life that benefits you in many ways.
How do I regain hope after betrayal?
Don't blame yourself if you end up in a relationship where you were blind to the red flags. As Maya Angelou said "Now that I know better, I do better."
