3 Steps to Overcome Fear

The #1 reason people don't achieve their dreams is not because of how hard it is to accomplish their dreams, but because of their fear to leave behind what they already know.



As Alex Banayan said, the #1 reason people don't achieve their dreams is not because of how hard it is to get into the Third Door, but because of their fear to leave the line for the First Door. The Third Door is unknown, while the First Door is where your friends are, it's where your family expects you to be, and it's what school has trained you to do.


If you want to achieve your goals, you must learn how to face your fears. To do this, acknowledge and get to know your fears so that they no longer hold power over you.




3 Steps to Overcome Fear

  1. Abandon the hope of being fearless and accept the fact that fear is natural.

  2. Line up all your fears and get to know them.

  3. Understand courage: it is like a muscle, the more you work it, the stronger it gets

Try this:

Go on a weekly date with your fears. Journal about them. Get to know them. Find the common root between them. The more you know, the less they will have a hold on you.
